Mixed feelings about this one. Docs & Nurses here are nice, however follow up on treatment from hospital or external parties is not done, you can be off ya head on morphine and cant move, but you must call the doctors to ensure follow up when hospital have discharged you, never had this before in Oxfordshire This is twice now this has happened! Its concerning. You dont always get a call back either when calling to speak to the Doc. Reception! There are a cpl of proffessional, well mannered receptionists but there is 1 who thinks she is a doctor and tries to interrogate you on the phone, basically to be nosey. My review is for Victoria House not Alchester as a whole.
Brilliant experience everytime I have visited there. Excellent doctors, nurses and reception staff. Changed from other local surgery to here as so impressed.

Had a couple of urgent appointments. Unable to see my GP but problem was addressed by one of the group. Well done 👍

Been here a few times with the kids and they have been exceptional, reading some of the 1 star reviews is laughable. Tonsillitis isn't contagious, it's a GP appointment and you should never have gone to a walk in. If you have serious eye injury a walk in centre is not for you. If you have the know how to get to the nearest hospital then it can't be too hard for you to find the nearest opticians. The opticians will refer you to an eye hospital if it's that bad.
I can't rate this place highly enough. Took hubby as a walk in. He had a scratched cornea and bruised eye. We were seen quickly, the nurses were helpful and very friendly, giving great advice.
